About Jill Lawson
Expertise
Jill Lawson retired in December 2019 as an NH III DAWIA certified Level III Program Manager from Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L). Throughout her 20 years of service as an acquisition PM, she worked closely with the Defense Industrial Base to provide equipment to the warfighters. She also represented SOF AT&L at the Office of Secretary's Focal Point working group, where she contributed comments to the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 1.0 program and the DoDI 5200.48 CUI.
Jill assists owners and C-suites in building strategies based on their contracts, baselines, and budgets. As a CMMC Certified Professional, she understands how companies are assessed. By combining her knowledge of DOD contracts and CMMC assessments, Jill walks customers through a tailored contract compliance decision-making process. The result is an affordable and implementable strategy.
